National Children's Month

The Philippines observes National Children's Month every November. Giving Filipino children access to a healthy environment, a quality education, and healthcare is the goal of this month-long celebration. The national hero of the Philippines, Dr. Jose Rizal, famously declared that young are the country's future and that raising children is essential to improving the next generation. This holiday also stems from an empathetic place. The majority of families in this third-world nation struggle financially, and the children are the ones who suffer the most. This month's focus is on the ways in which we may support and assist them.

On November 20, 1989, the Philippines became the first country to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. It was the responsibility of the National Youth Commission (N.Y.C. ), the Council for the Welfare of Children (C.W.C. ), and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (D.S.W.D. ), to develop initiatives, strategies, and fundraising occasions to assist underprivileged children.

The goal of National Children's Month is to assist children who have experienced abuse, hardship, natural disasters, and violence. In fact, the number of children who experienced sexual abuse and exploitation in 2013 alone was alarmingly high.

Here's to an never ending fun

Our subject ICT is actually fun. In the first querter of our class I have experienced and learned so many. I'm not very good at computers but with this subject it seems like it is actually fun. Having a comouter to work on in school is so helpful for me because my laptop is not functioning well.

First quarter taught me so many things like the history of the internet, search engines and more. What's really new to me is blogging because this is not my interest at first but when our teacher introduced this to use I was excited when she said that we will do our own blog account. At first I was really confused on how to run this but now I might know a litte in making a blog. I had a trouble on setting my account and adding profile picture and posting. My Teacher and classmates are the one who taught me the things I didn't know. Luckily I was able to finish all my drafts but I was stucked on scavenger hunt for a days. My favorite blog is Draft 1 because I was able to express myself.

Moving on, I hope that these 3 quarters left will be fun as the first quarter. I know that I can learn more and experience more. Hopefully I can post more blog because it's actually fun. May more blogs to come. Love you quarter 1.

Be a responsible citizen

As a citizen, we should respect our nature. Respecting our nature means we respect ourselves. The sign stated here is ignored by most of the citizens, " Protect our environment, be a responsible citizen", by just reading this sign we can make a change. Pick up the trashes and throwing it on the proper place is easy as scrolling through the social media. As a student, I went to Sta. Catalina Beach to pick up some trashes scattered near the seashore because I'm afraid that this will reach the water. To all my fellow citizens, please be respectful to our environment so that we will not suffer on its consequences

I encouraged my mom to help me pick up the trashers scattered near the trash can.

Throwing it on the proper place won't hurt you. Be a responsible citizen, help us make change.

Cleaning the environment is as fun as watching the sunset and sunrise.

Our Hero

 Dear teachers,

Since the first day you showed us that you want to give us a better future. You trusted us in everything, especially in studyng. You also showed us that we can enjoy every lessons despite how easy or hard it may be. Teachers, I want to apologize for my behavior in your classes, attitude, and behaviors through this simple letter. Sometimes I say or do things that distract you to your lessons, and I frequently get distracted by things that prevent me from paying attention in class.

I want to express my gratitude to my teacher for making the sacrifices you did, for the time you gave us to learn and prepare for the future, and for your tolerance. Even when we do things that irritate you, you still have that patience. Despite the fact that we have only been in this school year for a few months, you have already taught us numerous lessons that we can put to use both now and in the future. I'm hoping that the rest of the school years, we can have a bond and enjoy every little lessons. Thank you for giving us a better future. I promise you my teachers that I will treasure all the lessons and memories we shared.

I hope this message finds its way to you, my dear Teachers. I promise not to break the trust you have on us. I'll always remember you my teachers and all the lessons you taught us. You my teachers, A hero I never new I needed. Once more, thank you and God bless you, My Heroes.
